Recognizes the month of June 2017 as Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, recognizes Wednesday, June 21, 2017, as The Longest Day in California, and urges all Californians to wear purple on this day to help spread global awareness of the Alzheimer’s Association’s vision of a world without Alzheimer’s disease.

ACR 95: Philippine Independence Day

Recognizes June 12, 2017, as the 119th Anniversary of Philippine Independence and calls upon the people of the state to observe the month of June with appropriate ceremonies, programs, and activities.

ACR 97: The 2017 International Day Of Yoga

Recognizes June 21, 2017, as the 2017 International Day of Yoga in California.

ACR 98: Elder And Vulnerable Adult Abuse Awareness Month

Proclaims and acknowledges the month of June 2017 as Elder and Vulnerable Adult Abuse Awareness Month.

ACR 100: Juneteenth

Recognizes June 19, 2017, as Juneteenth and would urge the people of California to join in celebrating Juneteenth as a day to honor and reflect on the significant role that African Americans have played in the history of the United States and how they have enriched society through their steadfast commitment to promoting unity and equality.

ACR 102: Opportunity Youth Reengagement Month

Recognizes the month of August 2017 as Opportunity Youth Reengagement Month and encourages the Legislature to expand recommendations for a statewide student reengagement strategy.

ACR 104: Filipino American History Month

Recognizes the month of October 2017 as Filipino American History Month and the 430th anniversary of the first presence of Filipinos in the continental United States.

ACR 105: Ukrainian Famine Of 1932–1933

Designates November 25, 2017, as Holodomor Remembrance Day.  Remembers and honors the millions of victims of the man-made Ukrainian Famine of 1932–1933, known as “Holodomor,” and their descendants who are living throughout California.

ACR 107: 4th Of July

Recognizes and celebrates July 4, 2017, and the 241st anniversary of the birth of our great nation and the signing of the Declaration of Independence that this day represents.

ACR 111: India’s Independence Day

Recognizes August 15, 2017, as India’s Independence Day and would urge all Californians to join in celebrating India’s independence.

ACR 112: Korean American Veterans Of The Vietnam Conflict

Recognizes the service of Korean and Korean American veterans of the Vietnam conflict for their service to the United States.

ACR 114: World War I Commemoration

Recognizes the for the mission of the California World War One Centennial Task Force by designating August 5, 2017, to November 11, 2018, as the commemoration period of the 100th anniversary of the United States’ involvement in World War I.

ACR 116: Student Hunger Action Month

Recognizes September 2017 as Student Hunger Action Month.

ACR 118: Women’s Suffrage In California: Anniversary

Proclaims October 10, 2017, as the 106th Anniversary of Women’s Suffrage in California.

ACR 119: National Health Center Week

Proclaims the week of August 13 to August 19, 2017, inclusive, as National Health Center Week in California.
