Proclaims October 9, 2018, as Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS) Awareness Day in California.
Recognizes the legacy of California’s pioneer Chinese Americans and honors their contributions and the important role they played in the history of Yosemite National Park and the Sierra Nevada.
Recognizes August 15, 2018, as India’s Independence Day, and urges all Californians to join in celebrating India’s independence.
Designates September 2018 as California Computer Science Education Month. Encourages the exposure of pupils to computer science concepts and encourages opportunities to be provided for females and underrepresented minorities in computer science.
Declares October 23 to 31, 2018, as Red Ribbon Week, and encourages all Californians to help build drug-free communities and to participate in drug prevention activities.
ACR 267: California’s Sikh American Awareness And Appreciation Month
Designates the month of November 2018 to be California’s Sikh American Awareness and Appreciation Month.
Declares November 9, 2018, and each November 9 thereafter, as Dosan Ahn Chang Ho Day.
Urges pet owners in the state to take specified actions to prevent harm to pets caused by fire, prepare for fire emergencies at home, and take precautions to ensure the safe location, rescue, care, and medical treatment of all pets in the event of a wildfire in or around a pet owner’s home.
Designates October 2018 as Women’s Small Business Month.
Proclaims November 2018 as Epilepsy Awareness Month and calls for a recommitment to increasing awareness and understanding of those living with epilepsy.
Recognizes September 2018 as PACE Month in California.
Asks the President of the United States to reinstate the mortgage fee reduction put in place on Jan. 9, 2017 by President Obama’s Department of Housing and Urban Development, which decreased the premium rate for Federal Housing Administration-backed loans by 0.25%.
