Capitol Updates
My legislation to make it easier for Californians to use the Power of Attorney forms wassigned by the Governor last week. Specifically‚ Assembly Bill 2199 updates‚ clarifies andimproves the statutory Power of Attorney form to modernize rules for digital accounts andassets‚ consistent with the revised Uniform Fiduciary Access to Digital Assets Act.
This bill takes effect on January 1‚ 2027.
