Last week‚ the Assembly Elections Committee heard Assembly Constitutional Amendment 8‚Assembly Bill 604‚ and Senate Bill 280 on Governor Gavin Newsom’s Gerrymandering Scheme. As Vice Chair of the Assembly Elections Committee‚ I vigorously questioned these bills –including who drew the maps –and voted NO on all three.
