Assemblymember Devon Mathis Names the Honorable Connie Conway as the 33rd Assembly District’s Woman of the Year

Sacramento– Today, Assembly Republican Caucus Operations Chair, Devon J. Mathis (R-Porterville), named the Honorable Connie Conway as the 33rd Assembly District’s Woman of the Year.

“It is an understatement to say that Connie Conway is important to the Central Valley,” said Mathis. “Throughout her astonishing career, Connie has proven her devotion to serving the people of the Central Valley, and the state as a whole.  I am privileged to have had the opportunity to work with her, learn from her, and serve the people of our beautiful district.”

Former Congresswoman Connie Conway is an extraordinary example of dedication to her country. Her service to Central California as a former Assemblymember, including leader of the Assembly Republican Caucus, and County Supervisor is truly an inspiration and will always be treasured. She continues to represent under the direction of Speaker McCarthy.
