Requires the Department of Public Health (DPH), when it receives a report of a case of coccidioidomycosis (valley fever) after its reporting deadline for a specified year, to include the case in its data collection for the next year and to the year of diagnosis in future data reporting.

Requires the CA Department of Public Health (DPH) to conduct a valley fever awareness campaign, with specified elements, to communicate with local health jurisdictions, providers, and the public about valley fever.
AB 1933: Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund: Recycling Infrastructure Projects
Refines and expands CalRecycle’s existing cap and trade-funded grant program to allow funding to be used for expanding existing facilities that process recyclable materials and for projects to improve the quality of recycled materials.
AB 1954: Timber Harvest Plans: Exemption: Reducing Flammable Materials
Extends the sunset date on an exemption from the Z’berg-Nejedley Forest Practice Act that facilitates the removal of flammable materials and creation/maintenance of a fuel-break around an approved and legally permitted habitable structure.
Allows prescribers of controlled substances to directly access a list of their patients in the California Department of Justice’s (DOJ’s) prescription drug monitoring program (PDMP).
Authorizes a trier of fact to impose a fine, civil penalty, or other penalty or remedy in an amount up to three times greater than currently authorized in an action brought by or on behalf of a minor who is a victim of commercial sexual exploitation, if the court finds that specified factors are present and the defendant was over 18 at the time of the act. Authorizes a trier of fact otherwise not authorized by statute to impose a civil penalty of between $10,000 – $50,000 against an adult found to have commercially sexually exploited a minor or nonminor dependent.
Authorizes a mobile slaughter operator to harvest livestock for the sole use of a purchaser so long as the livestock is harvested on the producer’s property and is used solely by the purchaser of the livestock. Increases fees collected by brand inspectors who conduct required inspections for private party sales occurring outside an auction. Authorizes the Department of Food and Agriculture to issue an annual permit allowing show cattle to be transported out of state in lieu of a brand inspection, and to charge a fee to cover permitting costs not to exceed $10 per head of cattle.
AB 2302: Child Abuse: Sexual Assault: Mandated Reporters: Statute Of Limitations
Provides that a mandated reporter of child abuse who fails to report known, or reasonably suspected, sexual assault of a child may be prosecuted for up to five years after the commission of the offense, rather than the existing one year (which is the statute of limitation for most misdemeanors).
Specifies that a veteran who may be eligible for U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) mental health services shall not be denied county mental or behavioral health services while waiting for a determination of eligibility for, and availability of, VA services.
AB 2341: California Environmental Quality Act: Aesthetic Impacts
Provides California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) litigation relief for housing projects involving the refurbishment, conversion, repurposing, or replacement of an existing building that is abandoned, dilapidated, or has been vacant for more than one year. Exempts the lead agency from having to consider or mitigate that project’s aesthetic impacts, thereby closing a potential avenue of litigation based on very subjective grounds.
Establishes the design requirements for any construction, restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, or reconstruction on the State Capitol Building Annex.
AB 2832: Recycling: Lithium-Ion Vehicle Batteries: Advisory Group
Establishes a Lithium-Ion Car Battery Recycling Advisory Group to provide policy recommendations to the Legislature on how to ensure as close to 100% of end-of-life lithium-ion vehicle batteries discarded in California are recycled or reused in-state.
Conforms state law to federal changes governing the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) by updating processes and standards for the handling, processing, and placement activities associated with Indian children when a child is removed from the custody of his or her parent or guardian.
