Designates January 30, 2019, as Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution.
Proclaims the week of February 3 to February 9, 2019, as California Fitness Week, and encourages all Californians to enrich their lives through proper nutrition and exercise.
Recognizes February 5, 2019, as the beginning of the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Pig, and extends best wishes for a peaceful and prosperous Lunar New Year to all Californians.
Recognizes February 2019 as Black History Month and urges all citizens to join in celebrating the accomplishments of African Americans during Black History Month. Encourages the people of California to recognize the many talents of African Americans and the achievements and contributions they make to their communities to create equity and equality for education, economics, and social justice.
Recognizes the week of February 17, 2019, to February 23, 2019, as Engineers Week.
Proclaims February 21, 2019, as Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day.
Proclaims August 2019 as Valley Fever Awareness Month.
Proclaims the week of February 9, 2019, to February 16, 2019, as California Court Reporting and Captioning Week. Requests the Governor to issue a proclamation calling on the people of the great State of California to observe the week with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and educational activities.
Recognizes March 14, 2019, as California Attractions and Parks Day. Declares Legislative intent to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the California Attractions and Parks Association and celebrate the organization’s important role and many contributions to California’s tourism industry.
Honors the legacy of Bayard Rustin, who stood at the confluence of the greatest struggles for civil, legal, and human rights by African Americans, as well as the LGBTQ community, and whose focus on civil and economic rights and belief in peace and the dignity of all people remain as relevant today as ever.
Recognizes May 2019 as Blue Star Mothers of America Month in California. Encourages all residents of the state to take some time during the month of May 2019 to honor and recognize the dedication and sacrifice of the Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc., and recognizes and celebrates the history and contributions of the Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc.

ACR 34: Irish American Heritage Month And 100th Anniversary Of Ireland’s First Dáil
Designates March 2019 as Irish American Heritage Month in honor of the multitude of contributions that Irish Americans have made to the country and state, and in honor of the 100th Anniversary of Ireland’s First Dáil. Calls upon the people of the state to observe the month of March with appropriate ceremonies, programs, and activities, especially on March 17 in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
Designates April 2019 as Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month. Urges all citizens to support the search for a cure and to assist those individuals and families who deal with this disabling disease on a daily basis.
Recognizes March 1, 2019, as National Speech and Debate Education Day.
Proclaims every March 19 as California Celebrating Women in Public Office Day. Calls upon the people of California to unite and support the success of women in public office with appropriate activities, events, and programs.
