Proclaims August 2021 as Valley Fever Awareness Month. Aims to bring awareness to Valley Fever, a respiratory disease with no current cure.

ACR 59: Portuguese Heritage Month

Declares June 2021 as Portuguese Heritage Month. Recognizes the contributions of Portuguese Americans.

ACR 60: BeeWhere Month

Proclaims April of each year as BeeWhere Month. Recognizes and honors those leaders who established the BeeWhere program. Makes Californians aware of the buzz about bees in the state.

ACR 61: Donate Life/DMV Partnership Month

Proclaims April 2021 as Donate Life/DMV Partnership Month in California, and encourages all Californians to register with the Donate Life California Organ and Tissue Donor Registry. Promotes use of the donor registry to save lives.

ACR 62: Harlem Hellfighters Day

Proclaims April 6, 2021, as Harlem Hellfighters Day. Seeks to promote and honor the brave 369th United States Infantry Regiment made up of African American troops who fought during World War I.

ACR 63: California Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

Declares April 11-17, 2021, as California Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, and honors and recognizes the importance and contributions of California’s public safety communications professionals and commends them for their continued commitment and service to the residents of California. Supports development of an improved emergency telephone network.

ACR 64: Harvey L. Hall Memorial Highway

Designates a portion of Westside Parkway between the Coffee Road offramp and the Allen Road offramp in the County of Kern as the Harvey L. Hall Memorial Highway.  Honors the life and service of the longest serving mayor in the history of the City of Bakersfield.

ACR 65: Limb Loss Awareness Month

Proclaims April 2021 and April of each year thereafter as Limb Loss Awareness Month in California in order to increase awareness and understanding about those affected by limb loss and limb difference. Details statistics and recent developments surrounding limb loss.

ACR 66: Child Abuse Prevention Month

Acknowledges April 2021 as Child Abuse Prevention Month and encourages the people of the State of California to work together to support youth-serving child abuse prevention activities in their communities and schools during that month and throughout the year. Advocates for the prevention of child abuse.

ACR 68: Student Mental Health Week

Declares May 10-14, 2021, as Student Mental Health Week in California. Acknowledges the importance of factors affecting the mental health of California students, and advocates for addressing mental health as part of an overall education plan.

ACR 69: Older Americans Month

Recognizes May 2021 as Older Americans Month. Encourages all Californians to recognize and treat all older adults with compassion and respect, and to participate in services and activities that contribute to the health, welfare, and happiness of older adults. Supports the community of older Americans in California.

ACR 70: Secure Your Load Day

Declares June 6, 2021, as Secure Your Load Day in California to increase public awareness of the necessity of securing loads on vehicles using the state’s highways. Details the risks from unsecured cargo in vehicles.

ACR 71: Provider Appreciation Day

Proclaims May 7, 2021, as Provider Appreciation Day in California, and urges all Californians to recognize childcare providers for their important work. Emphasizes the importance of childcare, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

ACR 72: Veterans Of The Republic Of Vietnam Armed Forces Day

Recognizes June 19, 2021, as Veterans of the Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces Day, in memory of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for freedom and democracy and the victims of the Vietnam War, and in honor of the survivors, activists, and freedom fighters of that war. Acknowledges the brave contributions of South Vietnamese veterans during the Vietnam War.

ACR 73: Autism Awareness Month

Designates April 2021 as Autism Awareness Month and encourages residents to show support for autism awareness. Details the prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the impacts associated with it.
